Separation Technology

Based on Specific Densities

Censor --The Sorting Centrifuge

The CENSOR centrifuge is used to sort primarily plastic solids of differing densities at very sharp cuts. During the process, the product is washed using a minimal quantity of water. The resulting products are then available for high-quality reuse. Final product form can be a clean flake or filtered pellet.

Key Benefits

  •   Effective washing of plastic films
  •   Separating with high selectivity
  •   Excellent dewatering of film products
  •   Twenty systems in successful operation

There are more than twenty units in successful operation. Several have been installed for more than five years and running well. They perform well on such products as:

  •   Mixed post consumer plastics

  •  Agricultural films

  •   Stretch films

  • Industrial film waste

  •   Cable scrap

  •   Used carpeting

  • This technology has the capability of sorting PP, PA and Latex. Therefore, it lends itself to converting used carpeting into usable product. Consider the advantages of clearing our landfills from these bulky products and avoiding the costs of disposing them!
